The service provider is Fermin Reynaldo Lozano Chevez, doing business as Bindloops. The designated agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. This email and phone number are only for copyright notices; for anything else, email hello@bindloops.com.

2. How to send a notice of infringement

Send your notice in writing to the designated agent (by email or mail). Under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), to be valid it must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (or, if there are several, a representative list).
  • Identification of the material you believe is infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example, the exact web address).
  • Your contact information: name, address, phone number, and, if available, email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

If a notice does not substantially comply with these requirements, we may not be able to act on it. Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages (17 U.S.C. 512(f)). If you are not sure whether there is an infringement, consider talking to a lawyer before sending a notice.

When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and try to notify the user who posted it. If the content is on the page of an agency that uses Bindloops, we may also forward the notice to that agency.

3. Counter-notice

If we removed your content and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. 512(g)(3), it must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the U.S., any judicial district in which the service provider may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.

We send a copy of the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If that person does not tell us that they have filed a court action to restrain the infringement, we may restore the material within the time provided by 17 U.S.C. 512(g)(2)(C).

4. Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we terminate the accounts of users and agencies that are repeat infringers, meaning they receive more than one valid notice that is not overcome by a counter-notice. We may also limit or close an account sooner when the infringement is clear.
